Hi guys, Well, my name is James, 21 years old from Kent in the UK.
I have a large background in various martial arts, though over the last few years, I have found myself focusing more on the Internal martial arts. I began training in modern Yang style Tai Chi Chuan about 4 years ago. The man I was learning from was largely focused on the health aspects of Tai Chi, and although I didn't realise or appreciate it at the time, I'm now coming to realise that it was incredibly lucky of me to encounter that side of martial arts at that point, as I've realised I've seriously knackered up a lot of the joints of my body through my previous training.
I am now studying both Old Yang style Tai Chi Chuan, and Cheng style Bagua Zhang from Alex Kozma. Tai Chi is still my primary focus, but I am becoming increasingly interested in Bagua.
Well, that's me in a nut-shell.

What is your opinion of alex kozma, seeing as you know him? I have only heard negative things about him but as I have never met him i take it all with a handful of salt.

Very kind, friendly and open. One of the most sincere people I have ever met. People may have negative opinions of him, and that is there opinion. All I can say is that they cannot have met the man in person. What sort of things have you heard?

I have heard (from more than one person who claims to have met him) that at least one of the teachers he claims to have trained under denies ever haveing met him, let alone taught him.
I am aware that exactly the same accusation is levelled at earl montague and one of his teachers.
As I have not met either to gain my own impression, i thought you would be a good person to ask. I have read a couple of alexes books and he comes over as being quite humble?

I have read a couple of alexes books and he comes over as being quite humble? Absolutely. As I said, Alex is an incredibly cool guy, so I'm quite suprised to hear some people are spreading that. I don't believe it personally. Do you happen to know which teacher it is?

Hi...i got 'page not available.'
What i was told is that he may have met and attended a few classes, but Master He denies Alex was ever his student.
I am hoping to come down south later this year, one of the things i would like to do is meet up with Alex as I beleive he has a retreat in suffolk?

What i was told is that he may have met and attended a few classes, but Master He denies Alex was ever his student. Well, I don't know anything about that. I'm certainly away that Alex has trained with Master He, but to what extent, I'm not sure. I don't know if he claims to have studied extensively. But I've certainly seen photo's and a couple of video clips of the two training. I am hoping to come down south later this year, one of the things i would like to do is meet up with Alex as I beleive he has a retreat in suffolk? Sounds good. Let me know when you're heading down, and maybe I'll be able to meet up with you there.
